She was predeceased by: her husband John Edwards; her siblings, Bob, Terry, Roger Dale Upton, Priscilla Marquez and Glenda Kaye Whitlow; and her nephew Scott Dale.
She is survived by: her sister Alma (York); her former husband Kenneth Smith; her daughters, Kandace "Lorri" McCoy (Smith) and Jillian Edwards of Norris City; her grandchildren, Justin McCoy (Terry Tran) of Augusta, GA, Brandon McCoy (Brittany) of Mt. Vernon, Aaron McCoy of Mt. Vernon and Eva Edwards of Norris City; her great grandchild Remi Rae McCoy of Mt. Vernon; and her siblings, Paulette Browning (Steve) of Cartersville, GA, Charlotte Morris (Bill) of Norris City, Angela Hite, Gene Upton of Harrisburg, Dennis Upton of Lexington, OK, Kevin Upton (Teresa) of Junction and Jerry Upton (Tina) of Omaha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SIH Cancer Center in Carterville and will be accepted at the funeral home.
