He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Short Hildreth and Tom Hildreth; his son Shawn Stout; his brother-in-law Eddie Combs; and his sister Fonda Stout.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Combs; his children, Scott Stout, Stephanie Jones (Jeff) and Ashley Etheridge; his grandchildren, Noah Jones (Amy), Logan Jones, Khayden Hearn, Macey Hearn and Oaklin Shaw; his siblings, Sheila Gulley (Danny) and Robbie Stout; his mother-in-law Sharon Bryant; his siblings-in-law, Kerry Bryant (David) and Jim (Mary Combs); and his aunts, Romaine Short and Clara Sisky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vine Venue (35 S Vine St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in his memory may be made to a trust fund, set up for his granddaughter, and envelopes will be available or can be sent to Legence Bank.
