He is survived by: his wife Franziska Zirkel; his children, John Childers of Harrisburg and Stephanie Betts (Norman) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Brianna Childers, Bailey Childers, Nickolaus Childers, Derrick Hawkins, Josh Betts and Joseph Betts; his great grandchildren, Maxton and Colter Hawkins; and his brother Paul Childers (Brenda) of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by sister.
