She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alfred and Charlotte Barton (Smith); her husband Billy Ray Pyle; her granddaughter Sarah Pyle; her daughter-in-law Trish Pyle; and her siblings, Kenneth Nolen, Jack Nolen and Judy Vinyard.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Carpenter (Larry) of Harrisburg, Patti Johnson (Rupert) of Harrisburg, Greg Tanner (Jennifer) of Marion, Allison Lloyd (Michael) of Grovetown, Georgia, Cheryl Markus (Ray) of Eaton, Ohio and Billy Keith Pyle of Crete, Illinois; her grandchildren, Nichole Arnett of Franklin, Tennessee, Kimberly Edwards (Michael) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Roshia Johnson (Aaron Casteel) of Harrisburg, Navarro Johnson (Megan) of Florissant, Missouri, Nyma Cole (Kendall) of Johnston City, Haley Keding (Jeven) of Evansville, Indiana, Maddie Tanner of Marion, Jordan Lloyd of Odenton, Maryland, Chis Lloyd of Evans, Georgia, Brian Markus (Tonya) of Brookville, Ohio, Jason Markus (Jill) of Round Rock, Texas and Eric Pyle (Carmen) of Crown Point, Indiana; and her sister Lynda Henley of Harrisburg. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.
