He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobbie Owen and Chuck Shaw; his brother Rusty Shaw; his granddaughter Willow Sheedy; his brother-in-law Jim Cummins; and his niece Tonya Hopson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Haleigh Shaw (Jeff Orman) of Cave and Jessica Telford (Sam) of Salem; his granddaughters, Charleigh Orman, Jolie Telford, Jemma Telford and Jacey Telford; his siblings, Ronnie Shaw of Harrisburg, Connie Cummins of Eldorado, Marsha Hopson (Willie) of Eldorado, Angel Owen of Harrisburg and Edward Owen of Harrisburg; and his niece Rene Denton (Julie Shaw) of Cave.
