He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lee and Grace Whitlow (Gowen); his siblings, Judy Gulledge, Linda Whitlow, Buddy Whitlow, Loyd Whitlow, Billie Jo Boyd and Mary Frances Whitlow; and his niece Machaela Sherrod.
He is survived by: his son Jesse W. Duncan of McLeansboro, Illinois; his grandchildren, Daniel Duncan of Eldorado, Illinois and Zoey Lynn Quinn of Norris City, Illinois; and his siblings, Thelma Tate of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Mary Ruth Brogan of Harrisburg, Illinois, Joyce Browning of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Robert Lee Whitlow of Belleville, Illinois, Charles David Whitlow (Brenda) of New Athens, Illinois, James Edward Whitlow (Becky) of Patton, Illinois, Darlene Kellum of Madisonville, Kentucky, Wanda Donithan (Jeff) of Henderson, Kentucky, Lisa Hutcheson (Jerry) of Dale, Illinois and Connie Sherrod (Scott) of Harrisburg, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and several great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dorrisville Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
