He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph George and Delia Mary Wenzel (Dailey); his wife Carole "Sue" Caldwell (Catholic Church); his children, Stacy Wenzel (Pam) of Junction, Holly Jackson (Gregory) of Casper, Wyo. and Delia Podoriscki (Roby) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Jerome Wenzel, Colt Wenzel (Lane), Carole Jackson (Chris), Gabby Applegate (Ethan), Brayden Jackson, Blane Podoriscki and Ann Marie Podoriscki; his great grandchild Noelle; and his siblings, Jay, Carl, Daniel, Earl Wenzel, Loretta Case, Florence Willis, Marion Bryant, Rosemary Hopson, Katherine Gross, Ida Swansey and Betty Wenzel.
