It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James I. Black (Harrisburg, Illinois), born in Karbers Ridge, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Black and Mabel Vinyard Black; his parents-in-law, Henry and Gertrude Hendren; and his brother Adrian Black.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Hendren; his son Stephen (Cindy Jim); his granddaughter Lisa Schiff (Bart); his great grandchildren, Camden of Harrisburg and Lynlei of Harrisburg; his granddaughter Lori McClusky (Eric); and his great grandchild Madison of Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shawnee Hills Country Club or Shriner's Hospital for Children in St. Louis.
