He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Bittle (Frick) and Howard Bittle; his son Mark Bittle; and his brothers, Richard Bittle and Gary Bittle.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thomas of Quincy; his children, Todd Bittle (Beth) of Harrisburg and Amy Brombaugh (Matt) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Christopher Bittle of Los Angeles, California, Alexander Bittle of Greencastle, Indiana, Patrick Bittle of Champaign, Illinois, Sarah Bittle of Harrisburg, Andrew Bittle of Harrisburg, Ben Brombaugh of Harrisburg, Sofia Brombaugh of Harrisburg and Miles Brombaugh of Harrisburg; his brothers, Ron Bittle (Peggy) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Bob Bittle of Carterville and Randy Bittle (Lynn) of Carterville; and his sister-in-law Kay Bittle of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
