He was predeceased by: his parents, John Magnuson and Esther Magnuson; his wife Barbara Nelson; his daughter Janet Magnuson; and his brothers, Walter Magnuson, Robert and Ronald Magnuson.
He is survived by: his daughter Celia Popetz (George) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Blane Popetz (Anne) of Jacksonville, Florida and Zach Popetz (Sarah) of Harrisburg; and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Isla and Lincoln.
