She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard T. Powell and Lyndell Powell (Harmon); and her grandson Cody Foster. She is survived by: her husband Joe R. Hicks; her children, Joe R. Hicks Jr. (Shelia) of Harrisburg, Illinois and Vicki Miller of Harrisburg; and her sisters, Patty Powell of Springfield, Illinois and Mary Bowser of California. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
