He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Andrew and Ruby Williams (Boatright); and his son Greg Williams. He is survived by: his girlfriend Wilma Hinant of Harrisburg; his children, Susan Buttitta of Herrin and David Williams of Herrin; his stepdaughter Sherry Bishop (Perry) of Harrisburg; and his pet Penny. He is also survived by four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
