We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2023, at the age of 92, Dorotha Lee Howard-Bailey of Harrisburg, Illinois, born in Benton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Barnfield and Tena Barnfield (Roper); and her husband Daniel J. Howard. She is survived by: her sons, Ted Howard (Patty) of Benton and Jim Howard (Becky) of Benton; her grandchildren, Tracy Lee Norris (Brian) of Benton, Wesley Clay Beaty (Jessica) of North City, Christie Pacha (Ken) of Bloomington, John D. Howard (Sarah) of Marion, Matthew G. Howard (Sarah) of Lee's Summit and Nathan Beaty (Katrina) of Ewing, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Mason, Madi, Logan, Olivia, Isaac, Caleb, Ella, Aiden, Trevor and Chase; and her sister Jean Rose of Cadiz, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Benton Baptist Church or to Golden Circle Senior Citizens; and will be accepted at the funeral home.
