He is survived by: his wife Beth Karns; his son Sean Partain of Harrisburg, Illinois; his sisters, Debbie Mott (Brian) of Muddy, Illinois and Tracie Brantley (Mike) of Muddy, Illinois; his aunt Pat Smith (Bill) of Nashville, Tennessee; his uncle Bob Partain (Glenda) of Harrisburg, Illinois; his nieces, Cassandra Beltz (Kevin) of Harrisburg, Illinois, Jaclynn Brantley of Harrisburg, Illinois and Paige Raigner (Kenny) of Carmi; and his nephew Konner Raigner of Carmi.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to offset medical expenses.
