He was predeceased by: his parents, Robbie Hankins and Helen Hankins (Travelstead); his brother Noel Lee Hankins; and his nephew Robbie Lee Hankins. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jones (Mitchell); his children, Greg Hankins of Delaware, Ohio, Carrie Hankins of Portland, Oregon, Marcie Hankins (Nancy Lafferty) of Indianapolis and Jennifer Budd (Terry) of Mentor, Ohio; and his brother Kenneth Hankins (Carla) of Galatia, Illinois. He is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandson.
