It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Robinson Jr. of Harrisburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Robinson and Maudie Robinson Sr. (Fricker); his former wife Pauline Lee; his son David Robinson; his grandson Anthony Robison; his stepson Terry Beavers; his stepgrandson TJ Beavers; and his siblings, Arlene Fowler, Dolan Robinson, Wiley Robinson, Alan Raines and Dwayne Fowler (Wilda Robinson).
He is survived by: his grandson Shawn; his wife Thelma Milligan; his children, Brenda Swan (Ivan) of Piedmont, Missouri, Clifford Robinson (Debbie) of Harrisburg, Dennis Robinson of Harrisburg, Linda Ross (Roger) of Piedmont, Missouri, Leon Beavers (Christiana) of Paducah and Patty McDowell of Harrisburg; and his siblings, Deon Robinson of Elizabethtown, Brenda Raines of Golconda and David Robinson (Joyce) of Herod. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Honeycomb Church of God and will be received at the funeral home.
