Carsa Sue Hedger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 91, Carsa Sue Hedger of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Brinkley and Ernestine Brinkley; her siblings, Sadie Wasson, Mollijean Stephens Frazier, Ben Brinkley and Robert Brinkley; her husband Harvey Doyle Hedger; and her nieces, Joni Hutchcraft and Elise Ann Wasson.
She is survived by: her son Mark Hedger (Denise) of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Gabe Hedger (Sydney Troxler) and Annie Hedger (Robert Snyder) of University City, Missouri.; her nieces and nephews, Ben R. Brinkley, James Brinkley, Terry Brinkley, Connie Peyton, Cindy Holderfield, Jill Holler, Carsa Stephens, Theresa Bremer and Becky Brinkley; and her close friend Robin Thompson Stricklin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Contributions may be made to Finding Forever Animal Rescue, 1117 East Main Street, Marion, Illinois 62959 and will be received at the funeral home.
