It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Pumphrey of Harrisburg, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hirom Stacey and Lena Stacey; her significant other Penny Gentry; and her siblings, Doug Stacey and Patricia Stacey.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Nugent (Doug) of Enfield; her grandchildren, Erica Pezzoni (Logan) of Eldorado and Ethan Mitchell of Eldorado; her great grandchild Denali Pezzoni; and her brothers, Mike Stacey (Pat) of Harrisburg and Don Stacey (Monique) of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
