He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hurley and Susie Hurley (Cummings); his brothers, Chuck and Roger Hurley; his nephews, Chuck Hurley II, Jim Baalman and Gary Baalman; and his siblings-in-law, Rosella Baalman (Toots), Gilbert, Victor and Joey Baalman.
He is survived by: his nephew Vic; his grandson Jack; his friend Jerry Tinkey; his wife Frances; his children, Bob (Laura) of Hardin, Pat (Danielle) of Hardin, Tim (Kristie) of Hardin and Julie Brangenberg (Rod) of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Ross (Jacinda), Nathan Hurley, Ava, Joy, Lucy Hurley, Will, Grace Hurley, Joe and Rose Brangenberg; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Samuel Hurley; his brother John Hurley (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Roberta Hurley, Severine Baalman and Mary Jane Baalman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Norbert's Catholic School, St. Norbert's Catholic Cemetery, Calhoun County Ambulance, or family choice.
