With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen J. Hitchens of Hanover Park, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew and Annamae; his former wife Sheila Ann Stritzel Hitchens; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Melissa M. Pazen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (504 W Main St, West Dundee, IL 60118). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Foundation.
