He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Ericksen and Carl Ericksen. He is survived by: his friend Wally; his wife Joan Root Ericksen; his son Brett Root Ericksen; his brother Ron Ericksen; his nephew Dean Ericksen; his niece Althea; and also Mary.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wildlife Prairie Park (3826 N Taylor Rd, Hanna City, IL 61536).
