She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ayers and Minnie Spencer Ayers; her daughter Lisa Chapman; and her sisters, LaNora Woolard (Paul), Nelle "Bonnie" Dansby (Don) and Joann Durham (Jack).

She is survived by: her daughter Lori J. Braden; her stepdaughter Tina McClelland (Mike); her grandchildren, Tom Blacet (Terren) and Katelyn Stetler (Jake); her great grandchildren, Cameron, Kate, Sophia, Catherine, Aurora and Karter; and her sisters, Eloise Christie (Fran) and Betty Bessler (Gary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
