He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elsworth and Lydia Severtsgaard; his sons, Ronald and John Severtsgaard; his great grandchild Rodric Jackson; and his siblings, Myrtle, Leonard, Clarence, Ernest, Jeanette and Walter Severtsgaard.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Severtsgaard; his daughter Jodi Johnson (Marty); his daughter-in-law Theresa Severtsgaard; and his grandchildren, Jason Severtsgaard (Patty), Shanna Davis (Jamie), David Johnson (Samantha), Brooke Marrs, Staci Jackson (Rodney), Dina Morgan (Gary) and R. J. Severtsgaard. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
