He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cooper and Pearl Cooper (Leslie); his spouse Mearlene J. Olsen; his daughter Dana; and his brother David Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Heflin (Mikey) of El Paso, AR, Deana Safronov of Moline, Dennis Cooper (Catherine) of West Bend, WI and Gary Cooper (Harmony) of Hampton, IL; and his brother Donald Cooper of Moline. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
