He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Penny and Josephine Penny (Baratta); his wife Catherine O'Connor; and his brothers, Donald Penny (Pricilla) and Joseph Guccione (Candy).
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Fletcher (James) and Sherry Johnson (Patrick); his grandchildren, Nicole Boulos, Matthew Boulos, Tyler Penny (Jenna) and Cailynn Johnson; his great grandchildren, Lorelie, Paisley and Jolei Penny; and his siblings, Alice Marsala (Paul), Laverne Cifonie (Nick) and James Guccione. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
