It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry D. Loy of Hammond, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence D. Loy and Lois Loy (Lundquist). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis R. Maxedon of Hammond; his children, Larry Douglas Loy of Firestone, CO, Barb Davies (Dan) of Champaign, Pamela Sims (Douglas) of Hammond and Jackie Welch (Heath) of Marion; and his siblings, Ronald Loy of Tennessee, Richard Loy (Carol) of Mt. Zion, Ray Loy of Sullivan, Dave Loy (Tami) of Sullivan and Myrna Kercheval of Sullivan. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
