Edmond Sawyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmond Sawyer of Hammond, Illinois, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore M. Sawyer and Hazel M. Fisher Sawyer; his son Jason Lee Sawyer; his brothers, Russell Sawyer (Margie) and Allen Sawyer (Laura); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Williams and Nancy Sawyer.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Ann Mull-Hite (David), Andrea Jill Shambaugh (TJ) and David Edmond Sawyer (Beth); his grandchildren, Lindsay Brandt, Joshua David Sawyer and Sadie Marie Sawyer; his great grandchildren, Mabel Brandt, Tate Sawyer and Tripp Sawyer; and his siblings, Wanda Williams, Kenny Sawyer (Jan), Larry Sawyer (Fay) and Gary Sawyer.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Hammond Cemetery (148 N 750 East Rd, Hammond, IL 61929).
Memorials are suggested to the LaPlace United Methodist Church.
