It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Long (Hammond, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Brooks and Dorothy Crippen Brooks; her granddaughter Shalynn Brooke Conner; and her sisters, Beverly and Becky Brooks.
She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Long; her children, Shari Schable (Bill) of Atwood, Shelley Myers (Tom) of Shattuc, Rodney Long (Julie) of Centralia and Stacy Welch (Jeremy) of Atwood; her grandchildren, Summer Pearson (Jeremy Burton), Sharlie Berry (Scot), Ryan Myers (Brooke), Tyler Myers (Lauren), Peyton Long, James Long and Logan Conner; and her siblings, James Brooks of Taylorville, Brenda Tannahill of Normal, Lynnette Connelly of Dubuque, IA and Lynda Millard of Centerville, IA..
