He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thompson and Dorothy Utley Thompson; and his siblings, Ken Thompson, Jeff Thompson, Jane, Maryann and Barb.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Gibson; his son Josh Thompson of Macomb; his former wife Vicky Dickey (Larry); his siblings, Bob Thompson and Missy Ward; his partner's son Pat Leggett (Kate); his grandchildren, Brant, Elle, Lilli and Valle; his close friend Feren Hopp; and his pet Annie.
