He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whitaker and Dorothy Whitaker (McCorkell); his wife Marlene Cameron; his grandson Dustin Whitaker; and his brothers, Duane, Lowell, Kenneth and Dennis.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Whitaker (Deborah) of Warsaw Illinois; his grandchildren, Beau Whitaker of Hamilton, Lance Whitaker of Sutter and Erin Hutchison (Mark) of Hamilton, Illinois; his great grandchild Dylan Whitaker of Keokuk, Iowa; his brothers, Stan Whitaker (Marge) of Keokuk, Jerry Whitaker of Warsaw, Bill Whitaker (Phyllis) of Carthage and Mike Whitaker (Pam) of Keokuk; and his sister-in-law Marge Whitaker of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
