He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Copeland Sewell; his wife Susan Diane Reneau; his daughter Shay Sewell Darnell; his father Ray Sewell; his parents-in-law, Robert and Glenda Reneau; and his brother-in-law Bob Greenhill.
He is survived by: his children, Justin Sewell (Andrea), Tara Baker (Sewell) of Hamilton and William Sewell; his son-in-law Sam Darnell of Quincy; his grandchildren, Morgan Lewis, Ryan Darnell of Quincy, Brenden, Walker Sewell of Hamilton, Brenna, Logan Baker of Hamilton, Abbygail and Joshua Normand of Louisiana; his great grandchild June; his siblings, Dorothy Orr (Don) of Columbus Junction, Linda Greenhill of Bettendorf, Ron Sewell of Oskaloosa, Gary Sewell (Linda) of Dubuque, Janice Sewell of Cedar Rapids and Mark Sewell (Elisa) of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Barbara Reneau. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hancock County Vietnam Veterans or the Great River Honor Flight.
