He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin and Dorthea Smith Martin; his brothers-in-law, Randy Townsend and Larry Dean; and his daughter-in-law Julie Martin.

He is survived by: his former wife Sharon K. Lomax Harrison; his children, Jeff S. Johnson (Wade) of Keokuk; his stepchildren, Karla Harrison (Curt Nichols) of Hamilton, IL and Kevin Harrison (Ginger) of Hamilton, IL; his grandchildren, Josh Martin (Sherry) of Sioux City, IA, Jeremiah Martin (LeeAnn Wiegand) of Keokuk, J. R, Mollie Vandenberg (Elliott) of Granger, WY, Jordan Martin of Dubuque, IA, Kayde Martin of Keokuk, Russell Ian Riney of Wayland, MO, Julianna Riney of Wayland, MO, Carlee Riney of Wayland, MO, Addison Johnson of Keokuk, Ella Johnson of Keokuk, Alexa Johnson of Keokuk, Christopher Keefe of Hamilton, IL, Tiffany Baxter (Jason) of Hamilton, IL, Brandon Matlock (Rachel) of Colorado Springs, CO, Chelsea Hopp (Anthony) of Hamilton, IL and Wesley Harrison of Hamilton, IL; his siblings, Keith Martin (Shirley) of Pekin, IL, Connie Dean of Pekin, IL and Sue Townsend of Pekin, IL; and also Carlene Dieker (Lemon). He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
