She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Goldsberry and Alma Goldsberry; her former husband Terrence McFarland; her son Terry McFarland; her husband Jackson Akers; her grandson Terry Wells; and her siblings, Frank Goldsberry and Irene Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Wells, Rosalie Shaffer (Randy) and Ronald McFarland; her grandchildren, Jan Wells Seyfert, Kris Stevens (Dan), Scott Shaffer and Rebecca Jones (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Allyson Knipe (Trevor), Bryce Buckert, Aiden Seyfert and Tucker Stevens.
A memorial fund has been established for the First Christian Church of Hamilton.
