It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David R. Powell of Hamilton, Illinois, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Winston and Erma Eloise Riley Powell. He is survived by: his children, Denise Powell of Keokuk, IA and John "Jack" Powell of Ft. Madison; his granddaughters, Amelia Powell, Taylor Tolan (Austin) and Alexis Mauck (Roger); his great grandchild River Mauck; and his brothers, William Powell of Oro Valley, AZ and John Powell (Dian) of Davenport, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels.
