McVey of Hamilton, Illinois, born in Dallas City, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clarence and Myrtle DeFrates (Wilcox); her spouse Glen F. McVey Sr.; her son Darwin J. McVey; and her siblings, Emmanuel, Orlando, Viola, Gladys, Herbert and Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Debby Osborne of Peoria, Glenn McVey of Peoria and Holly Moats of Russell, Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, Tyson, Annabel and Tiffany. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
