He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartholomew Hellrung and Margaret Hellrung (Frisse); his sister Becky Hlavsa; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Franke, Richard Hurley and Joe Hlavsa.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Mueller (Don), William Perigo and Stephen Perigo; his grandson Jack Mueller; and his siblings, William Hellrung (Linda), Elizabeth "Betty" Franke, Bonnie Hurley and Brenda Lange (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to VITAS Hospice or masses.
