He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Meador and Margaret Meador (Perdue); his children, John Meador and Beth Osborn; and his sister Frances Weible.
He is survived by: his wife Belinda L. Meador of Hamel, IL; his children, Vicki Hurley (Larry) of Fults, IL, Amy Shands (Courtney) of Kirkwood, MO, Jeff Meador (Kristin) of Albuquerque, NM and Zachary Meador of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Ashley Beckring (James), Katie Meador, Toni Osborn, Emily Shands, Samantha Shands, Madeline Shands, Courtney Shands and Kyle Lemke; his great grandchildren, Julian Moran, Kyleigh Moran, Lia Meador and Ali Meador; and his brother Tom Meador.
