She was predeceased by: her father Glen Whipple. She is survived by: her significant other Brad Kommer of Hamel, IL; her children, John Sisson, Jr. (Cindy) of Virginia, Karen Sisson of Colorado, Jacob Kommer (Leanne) of Kentucky and Daniel Kommer of Kentucky; her sister Camilla Whipple-Cormack of Edwardsville, IL; and also Charlie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
