He is survived by: his wife Chris Bettorf; his daughter Kim Pearson (Rodney) of Carlinville, IL; his stepchildren, Matt Luchtefeld (Amy) of Worden, IL and Jayne Endres (David) of Edwardsville; his daughter-in-law Debbie Ewing of Benld, IL; his grandchildren, Brandon Link (Jenni), Nick Ewing, Ellie, Avery, Luke Luchtefeld and Sarah Endres; his great grandchildren, Miriam and Ruby; and his siblings, Shirley Colliver (Gayel) and Robert Ewing. He is also survived by several brothers & sisters in law; and many nieces and nephews.
