He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ely and Ellen Dean; and his siblings, Billy, Robert, Eddie, Marvin Dean and Alice Molahon.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Karen Dean; his sons, David Dean (Wanda) of Highland, IL, Joe Dean (Tammy) of Highland, IL, Tim Dean (Lisa) of Conroe, TX and Jim Dean (Julie) of Maryville, IL; and his siblings, Richard, Clyde Dean, Hellen Hollis and Donna Mueller. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
