He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Hervoy; his parents, Valentine Hrvoy and Barbara Hrvoy; and his siblings, Steve, Joseph, Robert, Frank Hervoy and Molly Slovnik.
He is survived by: his children, John Koskela (Debbie), Jane Cunningham and Julie Ashlevitz (Allen); his grandchildren, Melissa Gilson (John), Jennifer Koskela, Carol Stoneman (Doug Bock), Timothy Cunningham (Kelly), Corey Cunningham (Rebecca), Amanda Canelakes (Andre Gallardo) and Thomas Canelakes; his sister Barbara Leary; and his goddaughter Dee Kuzmickus. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Interment will take place privately at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Safety guidelines will be followed, face masks are required.
