She was predeceased by: her mother Socorro Torres; her stepfather Johnny Torres; her husband Gilberto Cruz; her grandson Andrew Selders; her aunts, Helen Martinez, Mary Perez and Rose Medina; and her uncle Mark Cruz.
She is survived by: her children, John Gallegos (Dawn), Rebecca McSparran and Adam Cruz Sr. (Licet Velasco-Cruz); her grandchildren, John D Gallegos, Ian McSparran, Deja Neal, Leticia Velasco, Adam Cruz Jr. and Laneya Cruz; her great grandchildren, Adin, Kaiiden, Jayden, Armani, Jovanni, Ethan and Jabari; and her sister Melinda Gibson. She is also survived by her uncles, aunt, and all of her cousins.
