With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Saam of Gurnee, Illinois, born in Catawba, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 3, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Erdmann and Emma Erdmann; her son Dennis Erdmann; and her sisters, Rose, Donna, Arlene, Dolores and Bernice.
She is survived by: her husband Matthew Paul Saam; her children, Diane Erdmann, William O'Connor (Marlyn) and Susan Ekkela (David); her grandchildren, Kristina Wilkins, Joshua O'Connor, Sean Courtney Erdmann-McNally, Autumn Ekkela and Joshua Jackson-Torres; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Ryder and Kasen; and her siblings, Doris Demers, Raymond Erdmann (Anita) and David Erdmann (Miki). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
