He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Schoenke and Frances Schoenke; his wife Darlene; and his siblings, Raymond, Theodore Schoenke and Frances Parker.

He is survived by: his children, Sheryll Johnson, Michael Schoenke (Wendy), Russell Schoenke (Sabina), Marshall Schoenke (Elizabeth) and Randall Schoenke; his grandchildren, Cassandra Mummert (Travis), Douglas McNaughton (Patricia), Christina Brankle (Aaron), Tyler Schoenke, Briana Schoenke, Brandon Schoenke, Taylor Schoenke, Allyssa Schoenke, Ashley Schoenke, Crystal Johnson, Samantha Schoenke, Katelyn Schoenke, Sebastian Schoenke, Kylie Kaiser, Chelsea Burgmeier (Wesley) and Curtis Kaiser; and his siblings, Larry Schoenke (Martha) and Gail Garcia (Dale). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association and/or the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Thomas.
