With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Sandahl Jr. of Gurnee, Illinois, who passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Sandahl, and Robert Sandahl, Sr.; his wife Juanita; his brother George; and his caregiver Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Govekar (Hank), Cynthia Holod (Peter), Robert III (Susan), Mark (Judy) and Knute (Carol); his grandchildren, H. R. Govekar (Colleen), Heidi DeGrande (Tony), Hans Holod, Jordan DePratt (Holod), Holly Holod, Mark Sandahl, Sarah Sandahl, Rebecca Sandahl, Kyra Sandahl and Katelyn Sandahl; his great grandchildren, Henry, George Govekar, Ari and Isabella DeGrande; and his sister-in-law Sue Sandahl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
