She was predeceased by: her husband Heinrich Habel. She is survived by: her children, Jutta "Judy" Habel of Waukegan, Brigitte Kuehn (Friedrich) of Siegen, Friedrich Habel (Carla) of Olathe, Christa March (Jim) of Gurnee, Steve Habel (Heidi) of Gurnee and Paul Habel (Tammy) of Gurnee, Illinois; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Ana Alissa, Thomas, Jonathan of Rachel, TJ, Loran, Stephanie, Kaitlin, Corey, Taryn and Jesse; her great grandchildren, Mats Jonah, Carolin, Elisa, Emma Louisa, Lea Sophie, Madison Harper and Dylan Henry; and her son Ernst-Otto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeland Church (440 Hunt Club Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031).
