He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Hook and Ruby Hook (Strang); his sister Mildred; his brother-in-law George Hoviin (Ginny); his nephew Eddie Hoviin; his niece Susan Hoviin; and his sister-in-law Martha Johnson (Verner).
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Hoviin; his niece Sherri Elkinton (Bill); and his nephews, George Hoviin Jr., Bill Johnson (Gayle) and Bob Johnson (Phyllis). He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
