We bid farewell to Joyce G. Stanton of Gurnee, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Gianopulos and Anna Gianopulos. She is survived by: her husband Carl Stanton; her children, Linda Cunningham (Richard), Joy Helfers (Pete) and Gary Stanton (Jessika); her siblings, John Gianopulos (Vasiliki) and Despe Sterious (Chris); her grandchildren, Abigail, Melanie, Daniel, Nathan, Isabella, Timothy, Sofia and Olivia; her siblings, Irene Galanes and Harold Gianopulos; and her siblings-in-law, Mary K. Gianopulos, Lambro Galanes and Mary R. Gianopulos. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home (6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
