He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Dick and Helen Emma Dick; his brother-in-law Ron Burnett (Margaret "Margie" Dick); and his close friend Carole Bartholomae. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia (Michael Howe, Jr.) of San Antonio, TX, Jeff Dick (Sara Streed) of Waukegan, Jennifer Yonan of Waukegan and Steve Dick (Paula Forseth) of Sheboygan Falls, WI; his sisters, Judiann Dubs (Ron) of Waukegan and Janice Burnett of Zion; and his grandchildren, Michael, III, Ian Howe, Adam, Diana Dick, Emma, Gregory, Jr., Yonan, Caden and Makenzie Dick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the John R. Dick Memorial Fund to be distributed to charities are welcome.
