He was predeceased by: his brothers, Thomas and Chris. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Anne Rice (Paul), Jeff (Joanne), Amy Emery (Randy) and Michael (Samantha); his grandchildren, Katherine, Caroline, Cole, Elizabeth, Drew, Logan and Evelyn; and his sister Jennifer.
